Is salicylic acid good for your face?
My face has been breaking out a lot… not a LOT but enough that it is really annoying me. Anyways, I am trying to use aveeno face cleanser. It contains salicylic acid. But it is not getting better. It seems to be getting worse. Anyways, I was wondering: is it normal for it to get worse before it gets better or should I use something else?
its probably not the salicylic acid because it is the main active ingredient in most face cleansers, it might have to do with what kind of skin you have, like dry or oily and what kind of aveeno was you have, because if you have oily skin, you need something to counter act that, vs if you have really dry skin you need something more moisturizing, the key thing is that you want your pores to be as healthy as possible
