Aveeno Facial sunblock
Is it ever healthy to sleep with a bare face?
I am 23 with somewhat dry skin and the occasional pimple (combination, I guess).
Each morning I apply a daily facial moisturizer (sometimes Ponds, Avon, or Aveeno) as well as sunblock (lately Neutrogena). All that goes under my makeup. At night I wear a heavier facial moisturizer.
My question is whether it’s ever a good idea to sleep with a bare face. I would only consider this at night because going without sunblock during the day is not an option for me.
Can all this stuff on my face keep the skin from “breathing?” Or would sleeping with nothing on my face just promote more dryness and a greater likelihood of early wrinkles?
What do you do? Do you skin-concious ladies ever sleep with bare faces?
Thanks for your input!
personally, sleeping with a bare face is so much better than with a heavy facial mosturizer
it might be a good idea to lay off the cream but everyones skin is different
try it out and don’t wear moisturizer for a couple days
&see how that works!
