Aveeno Calming Moisturizer

im allergic to Aveeno’s positively radiant moisturizer and i want to try the ultra calming line. bad idea?

for some weird reason i am allergic to the positively radiant moisturizers(even though it says “hypoallergenic”!!) but i can use the cleanser with no problem. i don’t know if i should bother trying the ultra calming line (mostly the moisturizer) or not. anyone else have really really sensitive skin and have the same problem? oh and my skin is so sensitive i can’t use any acne products, and my skin gets pretty dry too. right now im using jergens but id rather use aveeno to clear up red spots. the cleanser has done a pretty good job by itself so far though.

I have sensitive skin im also allergic to tht, I have a hard time finding lotions for me that I won’t break out. But right now the Johnsons works for me, until my skin gets use to it than I have to find a different one. Sucks.I can’t even use jergens.

Extremely Itchy Skin?

For the last 2 months the front of my calves have been quite itchy. It would be an on/off thing. but in the last few days, they’ve been non stop itchy, where I want to scratch them continuously, to the point where they are raw and start burning, then when the burning stops, they become itchy again.

My bf suggests I might be allergic to the fabric soap we use. But I dont understand why it would effect my skin there, where fabric barely touches, as opposed to more sensitive areas. My pharmacist suggested I was allergic to the water here (since I moved 2 months ago), and that I just had to get used to the water. But its getting worse, not better.

I’ve been using Aveeno Anti-itch Lotion, which did help before, but now its not doing anything.

I’m going to the walk in clinic tomorrow hopefully, any suggestions that I could bring up with him?

Is it possible that its related to a psychological condition, since I do suffer from depression and it has been getting worse.

Can you return aveeno products?

I bought the Aveeno Clear complexion correcting treatment last year. It didn’t really work that well, and I’ve been using it over time as that’s how I thought to use it. Does anyone know if aveeno lets you return their products or not?

Does Aveeno Oatmeal Really Help With Eczema Itch?

I have heard that taking an Aveeno Oatmeal bath will help give me some relief from my itching? I have been to a dermatologist several times and he always prescribes me a cortisone cream.

Interested in hearing if anyone has had luck with this.

I don’t like the use of a cortisone cream for any long term relief of itching. It has some long term side affects and personally I think there are a lot better alternatives to help you with the itching.

I personally have used an aveeno oatmeal bath. It definately helps.

Put 2 cups of aveeno in a warm bath and soak for about 15 minutes. When you dry yourself off, be sure to pat yourself dry instead of rubbing the towel over the infected area. You need to apply a moisturizer immediately after.

how to clear up acne when your a teen?

…. i went to doctor nd i got tetracycline and i dont wnna go on pills id rather drink green TEA LOL
but like the doctor was a bitch about how scars cannot be removed

anyways my skincare is like creamy cleanser, and Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion but it barely moisturizes and the cream cleanser dsnt strip my skin natural oil infact it can get a bit dry. SHOULD I GET JOJOBA OIL? im just kinda afraid though lol but i hear its antibacterial as a lotion

And i use clearasil acne treatment but the acne still COMES. I use the aloe vera gel on top usually because i heard my moisturizer contains petroleum.

Try to clean your bed sheets and pillows regularly. They can collect oils that transfer back onto your face when you sleep. I use a product called cleanstart by dermatalogica. It works really well for me and is not too expensive.

What new products or even old ones are you in love with?

Ok, I am in love with the Nivea M. Multiple purposes made with creatine eye cream. LOVE IT. I use it every day.
Moisturizers I am using Nivea Q10 every other night and Aveeno Facial Moisturizer with SPF every other morning. Oh and new postively radiant Aveeno Facial and body scrubs are awesome.
I am looking for some good lip creams… i hate chappy lips and thought i’d share my faves and see if anyone has ideas on lip creams.

I am in love and only use all natural products. I LOVE ALL origins products. My face has never been so clean and not so oily since discovering their line of makeup and skin care.

I also love Aveda shampoo. They have this really awesome Conditioner in “Black Malva”, which helps me keep my roots in check. I dye my hair dark brown and with naturally blonde hair, it can look awful. This conditioner has particles in it (all plant based) that soak into my roots, creating a “all over” colored effect without the mess of hair dye’s every 6 weeks.

Origins has some wonderful products for lips. They have liptints that are all organic, and feel so good on the lips. If your lips are always chapped, they also have this “lip remedy”, which helps bring back all of your natural moisture. I love it.. =)

2. use a oil controling clenser one night and a acne clenser another . alaways before those use a toner i recomed netruagena clear pir oil removing astonat .
3. twice a week use a acne mask which ever you like!!
make sure the mask is not oily !!!!!!
4. i reccomend seeing a skin estlhin or a dermatoligst.
