Has anyone used the weekly peels? Did you like the results?
I am considering that or the obagi system followed by the obagi blue peel after using the system for six weeks for sun damage/ irregular. pigmentation. Opinions?
I just purchased Obagi last week after friend’s coaxing. It’s the Nu-Derm system. It really works! I already see a HUGE improvement…and so do my picky high school students.
I have small pits from acne scars that have already started to smooth over and the red spots and brown spots in my cheeks are starting to fade. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. Everyone I know who’s been on the Nu-Derm system has the complexion of a baby.
You will peel and turn red for a while. You have to be willing to walk around with peeling, slightly sun-burned looking skin for a while…it takes time for the process to shed off the nasty surface skin. I just pretty much told everyone I encounter each day that I will be peeling and red for the next few months and I explained why. That way, no one stares for too long or asks me why I didn’t put on sunscreen. But, hey, no pain, no gain, right? And it’s not that bad.
After using the Nu-Derm system for two months, then you can talk to the derm about the blue peels – but chances are you won’t need it. Good luck!
