Can you treat hyperpigmentation (caused by old acne) and current acne at the same time?
I hear it’s possible to do both.
For example those creams containing retin a and acne fighting ingredients (obagi i think?)
Right now, I stopped my night time acne cream and replaced it with the Even Better moisturiser by clinique which I put on top of the even better clinical serum.
But then I got spots.
I wander if it is possible to swap the clinique even better moisturiser with the anti blemish one? Will that alone be strong enough to control my acne? If so, will it interfer with the hyperpigmentation serum under the moisturiser?

Any tips or advice from people who use these products or similar would be most appreciated.
hi,
i had the same problem and have treated it considerably in the following way.
1.i wash my face thrice a day as my skin is very oily with clean and clear facial wash.
2. i apply benzoyl peroxide generously once daily.
3. I NEVER go out without my sunscreen of spf60. i even apply it when i am indoors.
4. when i am home in the evening i apply the egg white mask.
(Egg white mask is the best mask for:
1. tightening pores.
2. getting rid of acne and avoiding it.
3. getting rid of hyper pigmentation
4. reducing oil considerably by reducing the pore size.
i would suggest you use it 4 times a week( its natural so it has no side effects)
for 2 weeks at first and continue if you r happy with the results.
i use it in the following method:
i break open an egg and separate the egg white and egg yolk.
not beat the egg white till it form a froath. add a few drops of lemon and apply the foam onto your face and neck.
now i wait for 15-20 minutes or until it is completely dark.
wash of with cold water.
to avoid drying apply the egg yolk that we separated for 5 minutes and wah off and VOILA!!!

6. i apply a mask of turmeric and lemon for 10 mins daily. if you apply it or longer it may stain your skin yellow. to remove the stains i scrub off the dead skin with baking soda. YES i even scrub my face with it. it the best gentle scrub i have ever come across.
7. apply clindamycin and go to bed.
8. i take 2000mg of vitamin C daily.
Awl this done for just 15 days helped my acne go away and my skin is brighter, glowing and scars are fading!
