i need a day time moisturizer with spf for oily/acne prone skin?
yeah so i have extremely oil,acne prone skin and all moisturizers i’ve ever tried including nuetragena and cetaphil make my skin so oily and greasy looking and seem to make me break out.
i’m in desperate need of a light, oil free moisturizer for oily skin that won’t make me break out. and has an spf of at least 15, 30 is better but whatever.
i was thinking olay complete for oily/combination skin spf 15. has anyone tried this? is it good?
it also has to work good under makeup and stuff, thank you!!
If your skin has an allover “oily/acne” appearance, you may be able to go without a specific lotion.
However – GOOD FOR YOU – to want an SPF! It’s always in style to protect your skin. If, after washing your face, your skin feels comfortable (not tight), you may want to try a skin primer vs. moisturizer. Primers are like a magic potion – they even your skin’s tone and texture prior to putting on your makeup. I also have oily skin – and a primer makes my skin feel more “normal” – giving me a matte beginning – leading to more comfortable “dewey” results later in the day.
There are several primers on the market that are oil-free, but also have a good SPF. With this magic combo – it’ll save you an extra step every morning!
One of my favorites is made by Smashbox cosmetics. There are several sites which offer Smashbox, including Ulta.com and Sephora.com. The price made me gasp at first, but since I’m saving money by skipping both a separate moisturizer AND a separate SPF lotion – it’s worth it!
