Retin-A-Micro and Proactiv? (dermatologists or users please?)?

My doctor prescribed to me an OrthoNeutrogena acne prescription. It’s called Retin-A-MICRO. It’s a gel type medication that I put on my face at night after I wash it. Right now, I use the St. Ive’s products. I switch between St. Ive’s and Proactiv. I haven’t used the Retin-A-MICRO yet with Proactiv. But my face is starting to get dry and it’s time to switch. (I switch because I kind of have to “trick” my skin into working with the facial wash.) Can I use the Proactiv 3-Step System (cleanser, toner, lotion) and the Retin-A-MICRO? Or will they counteract and make it worse or cause irritation?

From my personal experience, Proactivi isn’t that great. The one spot corrector is good, but besides that, I’m not a big fan. I’ve literally have tried every acne medication imaginable. Stick to one face wash right now. I like to use the neutrogena deep clean. It makes my skin feel awake. Recently I have been using face masks everyday. Also, I use these strips by biore for blackheads (amazing stuff) If you have scars, use a honey face mask. If you have a few problem pimples, I would use clearasil spot cream. Best stuff on the planet. My other advice would basically just use a mask, clean your face with a cleanser as I stated before two times a day, use clearasil pads to take out the dirt, then at night do the mask, clean face for second time that day, clearasil pads, biore strip, and then put on the retin a micro….

otherwise just do the retin, and wash face with a cleanser.

sorry that was awful grammar and stuff… hope i helped!
