Retin-A Micro?
I have been using Proactiv for about 3 weeks and it has made my skin so much worse. Previously, i used retin-a micro for several months and it worked, but i wanted to try proactiv. SO now im thinking i want to go back on the retin-a. What cleanser is best to use while on retin-a? Also, could i still use the proactiv cleanser, and maybe even the toner?.
help please !
The reason i still wanted to continue proactiv is because it says that first my skin has to “purge” before it come clear..
I agree with peanut.If it makes your skin worse then why bother using it.Isnt that the reason why you want to switch?Anyways I used to use Retin A for acne as well and my dermotologist recommended using Cetaphil or Dove cleansers.Ive tried both but I like Cetaphil more.Its very gentle on my sensitive skin and doesnt dry you out.Dove was good but it did make me flake a little bit.Also make sure to use a moisturizer.I also use Cetaphil moisturizer for dry skin.Its amazing.You can tell if a moisturizer is good by opening and closing your mouth a few minutes after you applyed it.If your skin still feels tight you need something stronger.
