Proactiv…should I do it?

So I received my 4 step kit today from proactiv, the moisture one for dry skin. I have very mild acne, nothing too serious but it does bother me. Is proactiv worth trying? What are your experiences with it? I’m thinking about maybe doing the gentle kit so its not so harsh on my skin…has anyone ever tried the gentle kit? Thanks much in advance. 10 points for best most informative answer.

I’ve never had a problem with acne but have had close friends who have and they’ve tried everything and said proactiv did not work. If you have serious acne I would suggest going to your dermatologist and trying Accutane. Both my friend and cousin used it and it worked. It’s a prescription acne treatment and it means business! You have to have 2 forms of birth control that you swear to use (or practice if you choose abstinence) if you are female, because side effects from this medicine include insane birth defects!! So clearly this medication works, and I guess its a last resort for acne treatment because of its potential effect on babies. So def. talk to your derm. about it, because it works! Best of luck! =)
