How to make your skin really nice?
Ok. I have decent skin… I have MANY blackheads around my nose, on my chin, and some around my eyebrows. I’ve found that my blackheads just aren’t budging!
I get some whiteheads on my chin and under eyes. And then I have oily-acne prone skin. I get a few pimples every 2 weeks. I use proactiv and it works for me… Alot better than my old soaps! But I’m STILL getting un- even skintone, blackheads, whiteheads, & a few pimples. How can I get at least DECENT skin that I will be proud of??
Products I use:
•proactiv – morning and night (cleanser, toner, and repairing treatment)
•Proactiv mask – 2 to 3 times a week (also use as a spot treatment on bigger pimples)
•Clean & clear dual action moisturizer- 2 to 3 times daily
•St. Ives apricot scrub – 3 times a week
•Neutrogena on the spot treatment
I try to drink lots of water… But I’m not that good at keeping up with that:)
I tried Proactive, and it helped to tone down my acne better than my old soaps also. But, like you, it still left me with these ones that just wouldn’t clear up. A friend recommended this stuff: Benzoyl Peroxide Gel which I just get at Walgreen’s. It really works in drying them out quickly! And then I’m sure you could find an oil-free moisturizer that could keep your skin moist. The stuff that is in almost all of Proactive’s products is a small amount of Benzoyl Peroxide, and it costs A TON! The BP Gel I get is only about $5. Also, to get rid of hyper pigmentation (the dark spots) I separate an egg and use the yolk as a mask for an hour or so. It really works for me and makes my skin glow. 
Don’t forget to use sun screen every time you go outside also! That protects it from getting worse.
