No, I think if a 17 year old girl WANTED Proactiv she would have already gotten it for herself. It sends a bad message to your friend or whoever this girl is that she has bad skin. It’s sort of an insult and she’ll probably feel humiliated opening your gift in front of everyone.. like you’re broadcasting “SHE’S GOT ACNE!” to all the guests.
Also, this product is HORRIBLE. It’s harsh, it’s a waste of money, it doesn’t work, and in the end it makes you break out even WORSE, because it gets the skin dependent on all the chemicals. So if you’re looking for a good gift, do NOT buy Proactiv.
